The Research

Glioblastoma (GBM), the most common and dangerous form of brain cancer, is a devastating malignancy with no effective treatment.

This translational project proposes to enhance the efficacy of current GBM treatments by repurposing a drug that is safe and already in clinical trials for its neuroprotective properties.

This approach would constitute an effective targeted therapy for GBM with a dual beneficial effect: improving the efficacy of current GBM treatment while preventing neurotoxicity
